1. Nut coffee blend
The first Christmas coffee recipe that we would like to introduce to you is a delicious nut coffee blend. The coffee drink promises a delicious variety of flavors not only for Christmas. It only takes a few ingredients and 15 minutes to prepare the drink. With its velvety, nutty note, this mix is the perfect drink for the cold season. The following ingredients are required for four people:
- 40 g of ground coffee
- 40 g ground hazelnuts
- 300 ml of milk
- 400 ml of water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
The recipe: In the first step, roast the nuts together with the sugar until golden brown. No fat is required for this, the fat content of the nuts is completely sufficient. To prevent the nuts from burning, it is best to stir them constantly. When the mixture has reached the desired color, pour the ground coffee and boiling water over it. Then take the pan off the heat and let everything stand for about five minutes. After that, pour everything through a coffee filter and fill the drink to four cups. To keep the drink nice and warm, it is advisable to warm the cups before you pour the drink. In the last step, the milk is heated (to approx. 70 ° C.), briefly whipped and added to the rest.
2. Merry Christmas coffee

- Also: cream as a topping, 2 large latte macchiato glasses and optional decoration, e.g. in the form of chocolate sprinkles, star anise or cinnamon sticks
The recipe: The preparation is characterized by its particular simplicity. So in the pre-Christmas stress, just the right relaxation. First mix the milk with the cinnamon and about 1-2 teaspoons of caramel syrup. You like to vary this according to your personal taste, depending on how sweet you would like the drink. Then divide the mixture between two glasses. Then add the egg liqueur and the hot coffee (e.g. filter coffee). The Merry Christmas coffee is ready. Optionally, you can of course decorate the drink a little, for example with whipped cream or decorations such as cinnamon, cocoa powder, star anise or chocolate sprinkles. There are no limits to your imagination.

Perfect coffee for the Christmas coffee drinks
For the preparation of Christmas coffee drinks, we recommend high-quality coffees from the roasters Schwarzwild, Schreyögg and Dinzler:
- Wild boar Ethiopia Sidamo Grade II : 100% Arabica beans from the home of Arabica, Ethiopia, with the finest notes of chocolate and caramel. Perfect support for the “nut mix” from the first recipe.
- Alps Coffee Café Crème Schümli : A rather light roast with finely tuned taste nuances, a soft finish and a particularly thick crema. Also wonderful with “Spicy Christmas Coffee” with a note of cinnamon.
- Dinzler Viennese Mixture : A wonderfully balanced mixture that makes this great- tasting coffee with subtle acidity. Due to the somewhat stronger taste, it is not only the ideal morning coffee, but also perfect for combining coffee and egg liqueur with “Merry Christmas coffee”.
All coffee specialties are of course also very suitable for everyday coffee enjoyment.
